Time-based and Interactive Media is a full-time Bachelor's Degree program in University of Art and Design Linz. It offers a comprehensive and professional introduction and access to the theory, techniques and design of digital media and thus combines the complementary focuses of time-based and interactive media. Through the collaboration between TADAEX and Linz University, mentored by Professor Gerhard Funk, the study program was included in this edition of festival to present installations, interactive works, a collection of videos at Mohsen Gallery.
VCUarts Qatar is the Qatar campus of the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts in Richmond, Virginia. The project from VCUQatar MFA Design Program at Nabshi Center, featured a series of ceramic incense burners created by 3D printing. This project was a collaboration between both faculty and students, included a workshop in Turin, where the students designed ceramic incense burners using Grasshopper visual programming software and a Wasp 3D clay printer. The concept was to combine the traditional cultural aspect of the incense burner with new technologies.
