In our age, with the expansion of urbanization, the increase in the speed of information transfer, and, consequently, information consumerism, the contemporary man has become more agitated than ever, so that he is immersed in thoughts of materialism and there is no time left for stillness and contemplation. “Patience Sorting” is an interactive work in which stillness, self-reflection, and patience of the audience bring up abstract forms that lead to a better understanding of the order of the cosmos. The title of the work is based on a computer algorithm used for sorting data.
